Funny Motherhood Rap Reflects Hard Truths But Does It Sell Cars?

In the latest video trying to sell cars while simultaneously appealing to moms, a British mother raps about living large in the "Motherhood" (you are here for good).

The video has gone "viral" (I'm starting to loathe that world, and not just when it comes to flu), raking up over 2.9 million hits -- and for good reason. While it is on the lengthy side, the British mama raps about things we can all relate to including breastfeeding, diaper changing, baby vomit and eating leftovers for dinner -- and she does it all with an enticing British accent.

The chorus:

"It's the motherhood, it's another hood. I'd like to welcome you, but now you're here for good. We go from nappy rash to ending family feuds. And I'm flooding up your timeline with my baby news."

And she ends with the best part:

"I'm a school run taker, fairy cake baker, deal maker, orgasm faker, nit raker, rattle shaker, cheese grater, night-time waker. I'm a placater. Peacemaker..."

I like when companies don't sugarcoat parenting but I'm not sure this really sells the Fiat very well. Any mother of three would know that car is way too small for the whole family.

Fiat isn't the first car company to reach out to parents through a funy video. Sienna did it with the Swagger Wagon rap too. I don't know if it works or not, but I bet there will be many more coming to a YouTube channel near you soon.

Do you think this video is realistic? Funny? Lame? Does it get you thinking about the car?
