The Man Cold Comes in Many Forms
You got it: the bedridden husband. He is experiencing the bad back version of the man cold. Its not really his fault -- its that extra Y chromosome makes all men revert to whiny children when they are sick.
The definition of man cold in the Urban Dictionary: Only men get man colds. They are the worst colds you can get. They are near-fatal. Your man will not be able to lift a finger for two weeks, if you are lucky.
I don't know if this video invented the term man cold. But it is a good reminder that if you are sufferring with a sick husband, then you are not alone.
The only cure for a man cold is sports, cartoons and endless whining, followed by Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwartenegger movies. You will know they are on the mend when they start giving you puppy dog eyes and reminding you that they are in bed...all day and are lonely.
